South Grand streetscape construction

Construction is finally about to begin on the new streetscape along South Grand between Arsenal and McDonald. Affecting the area officially dubbed Grand South Grand, this new street configuration has been in the planning stages for a number of years, but will soon be a convenient reality of residents of nearby neighborhoods such as Tower grove East and Tower Grove South. Construction will begin in October 2010 on the east side of Grand at Humphrey. Construction will be completed block by block with a scheduled completion of January 2011. Construction of the west side will then follow, to be completed March 2011. So say goodbye to those bollards. South Grand will be sporting a new look by spring.
