Bigger closets or bigger bedrooms?

When it comes to building layouts, it seems that everyone has a different opinion. Do you prefer a larger kitchen at the cost of square footage in your living room? If you are a foodie, the kitchen is probably the priority. For a home theater buff, the living room.  There is no single right answer. One particular preference choice seems particularly baffling to me.  Via verbal polling, I have found that this question of bigger-closets vs. bigger-bedrooms seems to be split 50/50 along gender lines. But since I can’t ask everyone their preference face-to-face, I thought I’d send this out to the blogosphere. Which side are you one?

Feel free to elaborate on your reasoning in the comment section below.

If you had to choose between the following bedroom-to-closet-size ratios, which of these would be your preference?
