Tucked behind Sasha’s on Shaw in the Shaw Neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, two mixed-use properties have been unceremoniously rehabbed. Located at 1810 Thurman and 1816-18 Thurman, both of these buildings are owned by the same people that own Sasha’s. Repairs have been going on for the better part of two years, but it seems that things are finally wrapping up.
Both buildings appear to being put to residential use, but it is nice to development on the northern fringe of the Shaw Neighborhood. Shaw Avenue ad DeTonty both seem to have trouble drawing development when compared to other parts of the neighborhood and higher profile projects such as this will hopefully help this area get more attention.
